FFin Congress 2025
Framework conditions and consequences for planning, construction, and operation (ertse Seite)
The FFin Congress 2025 will focus on the challenges and opportunities for high-rise buildings in Frankfurt and Europe based on the high-rise development plan drawn up in Frankfurt in 2024. Researchers, experts from the field, and European university partners will address the question of what transformation potential existing high-rise buildings offer. They will discuss how hybrid, mixed-use high-rise buildings can be designed and shed light on their role in sustainable urban development.
Presentations on legal and regulatory framework conditions, new technical requirements for façades, statics, and infrastructure, as well as current concepts for the utilization and addition of storeys to existing buildings, will take a look - from different disciplines - at the new and old giants of our cities.
