Research impact statement

The development of a socio-economic strategy for territorial communities plays a crucial role in accelerating the transition to a circular society. By embedding circular economy principles into local governance, planning, and economic development, such strategies enable communities to shift from linear consumption models to sustainable, regenerative systems. It fosters sustainable resource use, supports local green initiatives, and promotes economic models based on recycling, reuse, and innovation. Such strategies help integrate environmental goals into local development plans, encouraging responsible consumption and reducing waste.

Biography

Educational background

1993-1998 student of Odessa State Economic University, Accounting and Economics Faculty. Graduated and received a specialty and accounting and audit in the branches of the national economy, qualification economist, degree - master. Diploma with honors

1998-2001 postgraduate student of Odessa State Economic University, Department of Analysis of Economic Activity.
 

Academic experience

In 2003, I defended PhD thesis on the topic "Strategy of Enterprise Development in Market Conditions of Management (on the Example of Enterprises in the Motor Transport Industry)" in the specialty - Economics, Organization and Management of Enterprises and received the scientific degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences.

In 2006, I received the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Enterprise Economics at the Odessa State Economic University.

Windows, MS Office, Internet - experienced user.  Extensive experience in conducting analysis of business activities of the enterprise, accounting and tax optimization, calculating indicators of economic efficiency of the enterprise, drawing up business plans and investment projects, calculating the cost of products and services at the enterprise, managing the enterprise's costs and identifying "bottlenecks", developing a development strategy for territorial communities and individual enterprises.

I have more than 80 publications in scientific Ukrainian and foreign journals, speeches at scientific international conferences dedicated to current problems of economic development.
 

Industry experience

From January 2003 to the present, I have been teaching at the Odessa National Economic University as an associate professor at the Department of Enterprise Economics and Organization of Entrepreneurial Activity.

Developed and mastered lecture courses on the disciplines "Enterprise Economics"; "Enterprise Potential and Development"; "Enterprise Potential Management"; "Enterprise Value Management".
Experience in developing and successfully implementing investment projects for business entities in the Free Economic Zone of Odesa "Porto-Franco".

From February 2021 to the present, Head of the Center for Scientific Research and Consulting of the Odessa National Economic University on a non-profit basis. Development of socio-economic development strategies for territorial communities of the Odessa region (Mayakivska TG, Podilska TG, Rozdilnyanska TG, Lymanska TG, Ovidiopolska TG, Shabivska TG and others); calculation of economically justified tariffs for municipal enterprises of territorial communities of the Odesa region for water supply and wastewater disposal, heat supply, solid waste removal and other tariffs, consulting activities on an economic and contractual basis. From May 2022 to the present, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Management of the Odessa National Economic University.
